This piece is a triptych of a selection of pages from new comic, 'ESCAPADES'. It is a visual poetry comic focusing on modes of escapism and exploration. This book was finished during the lockdown period and I hope it can relate to others during this time. You can order a copy here.

About the artist

I (Olivia) am a comic artist and illustrator based in South East England. My practice is based on visual poetry and psychogeography. I was shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards in 2019 for my experimental project 'Old North, Isle Rocks'. I graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2018. My aim is to expand the definition of comics with abstract and alternative means to reach a more diverse audience.
